Saw Mill (S)

It is in Värö, close to Göteborg in Southern Sweden, where Södra Timber built a new infrastructure for a relocated plant from Germany. globe-PM managed contracts, procurement & logistics and for the contractor.
Secret Service (D)

The headquarters for the Secret Service (BND) in Berlin was a unique project in all matters. globe-PM provided services in Building Information Modeling (BIM), quantity controlling and claim management.
High-Rise Design (CN)

When the local news-paper in Shijiazhuang wanted to build a new high-rise, globe-PM provided support for the conceptual design. It was the first project in China in cooperation Hamzah & Yeang in Beijing.
Concrete Logistics (D)

Together with regional partners globe-PM developed a logistics platform for a mixing plant in Northern Bavaria. Trucks equipped with GPS devices are tracked in order to optimize the filling sequence at the plant.
Steel Mill (AL, USA)

Valuable experiences in the field of compliance and value engineering were gained during this Thyssen-Krupp project in Mobile, AL, USA. Today the steel mill processes material that comes from the Thyssen plants in Mexico and Brazil.
Residential (D)

Ecologically friendly housing by globe-PM for a family in Roßdorf (Thuringia, Germany). The outside shell is in wood, the inside walls plastered with clay. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the valley.

Tough conditions in a beautiful environment

Working in Sweden is hard when your projects starts in October 2010 and is scheduled to end in April of 2011. Despite the cold winter with temperatures mostly around -10°C this project was delivered on time. globe-PM was in charge of all local procurement as well as contract management with local suppliers and subcontractors.

Ground Zero, Oct 2008

Ground Zero is currently the most interesting construction site in New York. However, it is also the most inaccessible site. Nevertheless, in the beginning of the project there was a chance of getting around all fences by simply taking a train from New Jersey into the very heart of it.

This train arrived in the middle of the construction pit and we have been on a train ride to get a closer look..Enjoy this video that was shot in Manhattan in fall 2008, accompanied with the sounds of Steve Dressler.

Logistics for ready-mixed concrete

Concrete is an upscale material. Deficits in the just-in-time delivery can lead to expensive material losses. The supplier shall be well organized in order to react quickly to spontaneous changes in the production process on the site. It is also necessary that the foreman on the site communicates regularly with staff from the concrete plant to get the arrival of trucks managed in an efficient way. With the use of navigation equipment the communication between plant, foremen and the trucks can be optimized.
